The Banking and Insurance Program of the Department of Finance, Banking, and Insurance at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Keçiborlu Vocational School, has been admitting students since the 2012–2013 Academic Year. As of the 2022–2023 academic year, the program curriculum has been updated in line with current financial developments and continues its education activities in accordance with the 3+1 workplace-based learning model. The aim of the program is to train qualified personnel who possess legal and technical knowledge in Banking and Insurance and who can carry out insurance services. Students who graduate from this program receive an associate degree in their field. Graduates earn the title “Banking and Insurance Technician.” Since students receive both business-related and field-specific knowledge, they may advance to higher managerial positions depending on their performance and professional development over time. The language of instruction is Turkish. During workplace training, students complete their practice in banks (treasury, retail banking, operations), insurance companies, or insurance agencies. Upon graduation, they can work in these areas or, after completing the necessary procedures, become independent insurance professionals.
