About Aircraft Technology

The Aircraft Technology Associate Degree Program at Keçiborlu Vocational School started accepting students in the 2018/2019 academic year.

To pursue an associate degree in Aircraft Technology, students must not have any criminal record or archived criminal record that would prevent them from obtaining an airport access card. They must also provide a health report from a fully equipped hospital indicating that they have no health issues preventing them from performing the profession or any tasks required in the field (such as color blindness, hearing loss/impairment, visual impairment, etc.).

Employment Opportunities for Graduates

Graduates of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program obtain the title of “Cabin Crew.” Parallel to the developments in the aviation sector, students who successfully complete their education and personal development can easily find employment in the headquarters of airline companies, domestic and international passenger airlines, foreign airlines, and various organizations and companies related to civil aviation.

Skills and Competencies Gained During the Program

In the Aircraft Technology Associate Degree Program, students receive a 2-year education at the associate level. The courses and internship form the foundation of students’ professional knowledge and skills.

Throughout the 2-year education, students take theoretical courses such as Basic Electricity, Basic Aircraft Knowledge, Aircraft Materials, Aircraft Structures and Systems, Piston and Gas Turbine Engines, and gain practical experience during their internship period.
