Civil aviation is one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic sectors both in the global economy and in our country. With the increase in the annual number of passengers carried by airlines worldwide, many new airline companies enter the sector or existing ones expand the number of destinations they fly to.
Program Objective
The primary objective of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program is to train personnel who are team-oriented, strong in customer relations, solution-focused, possess effective communication skills, dynamic, and competent in operational activities, in order to meet the increasing demand for cabin crew personnel in parallel with the growth of the aviation sector.
Admission Requirements and Physical Eligibility
To be able to practice the profession after completing the CIVIL AVIATION CABIN SERVICES (associate degree) program, the following qualifications are required:
- No criminal record or criminal archive record.

For females: Height between 160 cm – 180 cm.
(Weight must not exceed the last two digits of the height in centimeters by more than 5 kg or fall below it by more than 15 kg.)

For males: Height between 170 cm – 190 cm.
(Weight must not exceed the last two digits of the height in centimeters by more than 5 kg or fall below it by more than 15 kg.)

Being medically fit to fly.
(A medical report stating "fit to fly" must be obtained from aviation medical centers authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.)
- No visible tattoos, scars, or similar marks when wearing the cabin crew uniform.

General Information About KMYO Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program
The KMYO Civil Aviation Cabin Services program was launched in the 2018–2019 academic year with a quota of 60 students. As of the 2022–2023 academic year, optional preparatory language education has been introduced. Computer laboratories are used when necessary for visual training, and cabin interior training is provided practically with our Cabin Services Laboratory.
Employment Opportunities for Graduates
Graduates of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program receive the title of “Cabin Crew.” In line with developments in the aviation sector, students who successfully complete their education and personal development can easily find employment opportunities in airline headquarters, domestic and international private airlines, foreign airlines, and various aviation-related companies and organizations.
Skills and Competencies Acquired During the Program
The program includes not only theoretical courses but also practical ones. Cabin crew members are trained aviation professionals who ensure that passengers have a comfortable, safe, and regulation-compliant flight experience from the beginning to the end of the flight.
