Education Level: Associate Degree
The Renewable Energy Technology Program at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Keçiborlu Vocational School, under the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies, will start accepting students in the 2025-2026 academic year. The program aims to train qualified technicians capable of meeting the current needs of the energy sector. It provides theoretical and practical knowledge on the installation, operation, and maintenance of environmentally friendly energy sources such as solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal.
The program has a two-year (4 semesters) curriculum. Students will study fundamental engineering principles, energy technologies, and systems for the first three semesters at school. In the fourth semester, they will gain professional experience through full-time workplace training (3+1 model). Graduates can work as technicians in renewable energy plants, energy consultancy firms, equipment manufacturers, public institutions, and private energy projects. They also have career opportunities in energy efficiency, system maintenance, field applications, and grid integration. The program aims to produce professionals who will play an important role in the transition to sustainable energy.
